Al Horford's 19 Points Are Not Enough In Loss To Chicago Bulls
6 years agoBoston Celtics center Al Horford stepped up to play sidekick to Kyrie Irving on Saturday night against the Chicago Bulls, as he scored the second-most points on his team, accounting for 19 points and also tallying two boards and three assists. The 12-year big man was not timid shooting the rock on the night, connecting on 9-for-15 from the field and 1-for-3 from deep. Big Al has been hitting a stride as of late, averaging 20 points in his last four performances, substantially better than his season average of 12.9 points per game. The 32-year-old veteran looks to keep the streak going in Toronto on Tuesday night, a series that he has had success in this season with averages of 16.3 points per game and 8.7 rebounds per game in three matchups.
