5 years agoGolden State Warriors shooting guard Alec Burks had his best night of the season so far on Wednesday. In the 129-112 loss to the Houston Rockets, Burks was the only member of the Warriors to eclipse the 20-point mark. He played 31 minutes and recorded 28 points, eights rebounds, three assists and two steals off the bench. With Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, D'Angelo Russell and Draymond Green all out for Golden State, there are minutes for the taking. This was the most action Burks has seen in his five games this season, and fantasy managers should keep him on their watch list to see if Wednesday's performance earns him more playing time moving forward. Burks and the Warriors close out Week 3 with games against Minnesota and Oklahoma City.--Euan Leith
