3 years agoNew York Knicks guard Alec Burks notched a season-high 25 points as a starter in Tuesday's 112-110 loss to Brooklyn, shooting 9-for-21 from the field and 4-for-10 from downtown. He pulled down five rebounds and dished out five assists with one turnover in 39 minutes, adding a pair of steals and a block on the defensive end. This was Burks' first start of the campaign, and he's set to get a lot of burn now, with the team announcing that Kemba Walker won't be part of the rotation anymore. Burks will have a couple of rough matchups to close out the week against Chicago and Denver, but Brooklyn is also a top-class side, and as a microwave scorer, Burks is always capable of putting up points in a hurry.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
