5 years agoGolden State Warriors combo guard Alec Burks was one of the few players on either side who struggled to score the basketball against the Mavericks, registering just 11 points on three of 11 shooting. The four rebounds and four assists were encouraging, but Burks' value is tied mostly to his ability to put the ball in the basket on a Golden State squad in desperate need of offensive production. Every 20-point outing from Burks is seemingly followed up with a single-digit performance. That's actually what he did in his previous four games, with outputs of 29, seven, 20 and nine. Whether or not he's worth a look is a subjective question dependent on the layout of your league, but it's hard to believe there's not a more consistent option for you to look at on the market.--Daniel Lubofsky - RotoBaller
