4 years agoHouston Astros second baseman Aledmys Diaz (groin) was placed on the Injured List on Saturday. He is dealing with a groin strain that could keep him out for a few weeks. The strain is reportedly between a grade 1 and a grade 2. Diaz started as a designated hitter in the Astros' first game of the season on Friday, hitting eighth. The injury forced him to leave the game after two at-bats and he was replaced by Abraham Toro. In Saturday's game, Kyle Tucker got the start at DH and went 1-for-4 with a double, a run and an RBI. Tucker could be the biggest riser from the absence of Diaz and should be monitored in all leagues.
