2 years agoToronto Blue Jays catcher Alejandro Kirk is getting a breather on Sunday as the team closes out its three-game series against the Boston Red Sox. Danny Jansen will be behind the plate for the game while Lourdes Gurriel Jr. will be slotting in at designated hitter. Kirk was part of the team's hit parade on Friday when the Blue Jays clobbered the Red Sox 28-5. He went 3-for-6 with three singles and a walk in the contest. Across 85 games on the year, Kirk has slashed .319/.397/.486 with 11 home runs, 38 RBI and 47 runs.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
