3 years agoToronto Blue Jays catcher Alejandro Kirk is not in the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against left-hander Nestor Cortes and the New York Yankees. Tyler Heineman will be getting the start behind the plate for the game. Kirk is hitting .254 through 22 games this year and he has a decent OBP of .342. However, he's slugging just .270 and he has only one extra-base hit (a double). Kirk slugged .436 in the majors last season, compiling eight doubles and eight home runs over 60 games. He'll need to rediscover his power swing soon in order to remain roster-worthy in fantasy leagues.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
