3 years agoHouston Astros third baseman Alex Bregman is getting the day off on Sunday as the team takes on left-hander Jose Suarez and the Los Angeles Angels. Aledmys Diaz will be covering the hot corner for the game. Bregman put together a decent month of June, slashing .273/.390/.432 while compiling three home runs, 11 RBI and 17 runs. However, he's still hitting just .239/.353/.402 on the year. His line drive rate was a problem last year (18.4%) and it hasn't gotten any better this year (18.8%). On the bright side, he's continued to show great plate discipline with a 13.9% strikeout rate (90th percentile) and a 13.9% walk rate (96th percentile).--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
