4 years agoLos Angeles Lakers point guard Alex Caruso (back) was ruled out for the remainder of Monday's contest against the Magic due to back spasms. Caruso hasn't missed a game since March 16, having been an integral part of L.A.'s second unit. Prior to his departure, Caruso compiled seven points, two rebounds and two assists across 14 minutes of action. While he remains a fringe season-long commodity due to his focus on in-game intangibles, an absence could pave the way for Talen Horton-Tucker to see a minutes bump Wednesday versus Washington should Caruso not be cleared in time.--Jesse Borek
