Alex Caruso Enters COVID-19 Protocols
3 years agoChicago Bulls point/shooting guard Alex Caruso has landed in the league's health and safety protocols, ruling him out indefinitely. Caruso has already been sidelined since Dec. 20 due to a foot sprain, with this latest impediment further complicating his return. Coby White and Ayo Dosunmu have seen elevated roles without Caruso in the mix, and figure to continue to do so while the 27-year-old is sidelined. After four seasons spent primarily as a reserve with the Lakers, Caruso has emerged as a true fantasy asset in 2021-22, particularly in categories formats due to his defensive acumen. Tied with Gary Trent Jr. and Dejounte Murray, Caruso leads the league in steals at two per game.
