6 years agoLos Angeles Lakers point/shooting guard Alex Caruso took advantage of the minutes he received during Friday’s loss to the Detroit Pistons, piling up 16 points in 24 minutes. With the Lakers ravaged by injuries, Caruso has stepped up and also contributed four rebounds, two assists and two steals Friday. His playing time was aided by Lance Stephenson and Josh Hart being out of the fold for the time being, but Caruso has shot 56.8 percent from the floor this season and presents an off-the-radar DFS play when given enough minutes. Should multiple Lakers miss Sunday’s game with the New York Knicks, Caruso could be given a handful of minutes again.--Jesse Borek
