6 years agoLos Angeles Lakers shooting guard/small forward Alex Caruso made the most of his 29 minutes off the bench in his team’s win over the New Orleans Pelicans on Sunday, dropping in a career-high 23 points on 7-for-11 shooting overall, including knocking down all four threes that he attempted. Caruso was all over the court, adding six assists, four steals and three rebounds, giving him the best fantasy outing of his career. Whether or not he can replicate Sunday’s performance remains up for debate, with his next chance coming Tuesday against the Oklahoma City Thunder, with the Lakers likely to remain thin at multiple key positions, which should afford Caruso ample playing time again.--Jesse Borek
