3 years agoChicago Bulls point/shooting guard Alex Caruso (wrist) will undergo surgery to repair a fractured right wrist that he sustained Friday after a Flagrant 2 foul at the hands of Milwaukee's Grayson Allen. Caruso recently returned to action after nearly a month layoff due to the combination of a foot ailment and the league's health and safety protocols. Without him in the mix, Coby White stands to see a larger role out of the backcourt, with Ayo Dosunmu stepping into an elevated offensive role among the second unit. The combination of Caruso's absence and his limited statistical production likely leaves him destined for the waiver wire in season-long formats until he establishes himself upon his return.--Jesse Borek
