3 years agoChicago Bulls point/shooting guard Alex Caruso (wrist) has been ruled out for Monday's game against Indiana due to a wrist bruise. The absence will mark the first of the year for Caruso, who has shifted into the starting five for the past five games; in that stretch, he has averaged 6.0 points, 6.6 rebounds and 5.6 assists across 35 minutes on a nightly basis. Bulls head coach Billy Donovan indicated that he didn't believe Caruso's wrist ailment was going to be a long-term concern. Without him in the mix, Coby White and Ayo Dosunmu stand to see elevated roles, although there are very few players who can provide Caruso's level of activity on both ends of the floor. His next chance to suit up comes Wednesday vs. the Rockets.--Jesse Borek
