5 years agoMinnesota Vikings running back Alexander Mattison had 13 carries for 61 yards in the Vikings 19-9 victory over the Washington Redskins in Week 8. He added two catches for three yards. Mattison also notably had a couple of long runs called back due to penalties and received the majority of his work on the Vikings' final drive. This is the third time that the rookie has had at least 12 carries and the sixth game that he's had at least seven carries, and he has exceeded 48 rushing yards in 5-of-8 weeks. Mattison should be viewed as a must-own handcuff and an RB3/RB4 heading into Week 9's favorable matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs.--Kyle Ringstad - RotoBaller
