Allonzo Trier Finally Sees The Court Up In Portland
5 years agoNew York Knicks guard Allonzo Trier finally saw a string of minutes against the Blazers and did not waste any of them, scoring a quick 13 points in 14 minutes. This was the most playing time Trier had seen in a month, and he also went two of five from beyond the arc. Trier's numbers have regressed this season, but so have his minutes per game. Per 36 minutes, however, his scoring rises significantly compared to his rookie season. He's certainly not worth picking up right now on a crowded Knicks roster. As more trade possibilities become available and the deadline passes, he could be an intriguing option to fill up the scoring column for a team with nothing to play for.
