Allonzo Trier Makes All 10 Of Career High Free Throw Attempts
6 years agoNew York Knicks point guard/shooting guard Allonzo Trier compiled 16 points, eight assists, six rebounds, and two steals as well as four turnovers over 30 minutes in Monday's loss to the Thunder. The 23-year-old was 3-for-8 from the field, 0-for-1 from the three-point line, and a career-best 10-for-10 from the charity stripe. It was his most playing time since Nov. 27 and marked just the seventh time this season that he has seen 30 minutes of floor time. The 6-foot-5 rookie has scored in double-figures in each of his last two games and for the third time in the previous five outings. While Trier has shown flashes of brilliance, his play and minutes have been too inconsistent to be a factor in fantasy standard leagues. However, the Arizona product is a potential streamer, and DFS play if he remains a mainstay in the Knicks rotation -- depending on the matchup of course.
