5 years agoDetroit Pistons center Andre Drummond didn't seem to have it in him on Monday when coach Casey decided to bench their franchise big man for roughly the last 20 minutes of the club's overtime loss to the Pelicans. Drummond still managed to score 11 points while adding 10 boards with two assists, three steals and two blocks in just 22 minutes of action. Christian Wood got 26 minutes in the backup role and did not disappoint with 18 points, nine rebounds and two steals with three blocks. It was an interesting night, to say the least. We can assume Drummond will get back to his usual minutes going forward, but keep an eye on this situation.--Gianni Costantiello
