Andre Drummond Ruled Out For Sunday’s Contest
4 years agoCleveland Cavaliers center Andre Drummond (rest) will miss Sunday's game versus the Clippers due to rest purposes. Drummond's absence paves the way for Jarrett Allen to re-enter the starting five and play his more traditional role, with heavy added rebounding potential. The addition of Allen has coincided with Cleveland handing Drummond a significantly decreased role on a nightly basis, which has all but torpedoed his previously top-tier status. Having played just 16 and 17 minutes, respectively, in the team's past two games, Drummond's hold on the league's rebounding mark has slipped, putting him in a tenuous season-long spot. A trade is the preferred scenario from fantasy managers' perspective, with Drummond's next chance to play coming Monday against Golden State.
