4 years agoLos Angeles Lakers center Andre Drummond (toe) has been ruled out for Tuesday's contest against the Raptors due to persistent toe issues. Drummond had been in line for a sizable offensive role with both LeBron James (ankle) and Anthony Davis (calf) down, but the new big man's absence has paved the way for Montrezl Harrell to retain his previous high-level usage. Having played just 14 minutes for L.A. before his toe injury, Drummond still stands to be a significant member of the team's frontcourt once he gets cleared, having averaged 13.5 boards in 25 games with Cleveland. His next chance to suit up comes Thursday versus Miami.--Jesse Borek
