3 years agoTampa Bay Rays relief pitcher Andrew Kittredge (back) is dealing with a back injury. After Friday's game against the Baltimore Orioles, Rays manager Kevin Cash stated that he wanted to avoid utilizing Kittredge in the game because of the injury. The Rays wound up playing 13 innings on Friday and just about every reliever not named Andrew Kittredge made an appearance in the game. Brooks Raley is second on the team in saves behind Kittredge, so he's the most likely candidate to earn a save opportunity if Kittredge remains unavailable.
