Andrew Kittredge Picks Up Eighth Win Of The Year
3 years agoTampa Bay Rays pitcher Andrew Kittredge (8-1) allowed three hits while striking out five across two scoreless innings during Tuesday's 8-4 victory over the Boston Red Sox. He picked up his eighth win of the year. The 31-year-old entered the game in the seventh inning and retired 6-of-9 batters he faced during Tuesday's win. Kittredge continues to be used in high-leverage situations and has been terrific since the All-Star break. He owns a 0.82 ERA, 1.09 WHIP, and a 12.3 K/9 across 11 innings during that stretch. Kittredge has more value in league formats which reward holds but is worth rostering until relievers Nick Anderson (elbow) and Pete Fairbanks (shoulder) are reinstated from the injured list.
