6 years agoTampa Bay Rays reliever Andrew Kittredge has been recalled to the majors on Friday. Kittredge was sent to Triple-A after Sundays game, but after Jonny Venters was traded to the Atlanta Braves last night there was an open roster spot. Kittredge has had a rough season in the majors with a 7.77 ERA in 22 innings. Kittredge has also started three games this season in the "opener" role which the Rays have been utilizing this season. With how badly he has been pitching this season, Kittredge has very little chance of providing any fantasy value in any league formats in 2018.--Ben Rolfe
