Andrew Vaughn Not Included In Sunday's Lineup

2 years agoChicago White Sox outfielder Andrew Vaughn is not part of the starting lineup for Sunday's game against the Cleveland Guardians. AJ Pollock and Gavin Sheets will be the team's corner outfielders for the game. White Sox manager Tony La Russa stated prior to the game that Vaughn's day off was recommended by trainers, though he didn't provide any details as to why it was recommended. However, La Russa did add that Vaughn would be available to pinch hit for the game. The 24-year-old has had a strong year at the plate, slashing .298/.345/.462 with 10 home runs, 49 RBI and 38 runs across 75 games.
