3 years agoThe Chicago White Sox activated outfielder Andrew Vaughn (hand) from the 10-day injured list on Friday. In a corresponding move, starting pitcher Lucas Giolito was placed on the COVID-19 injured list. Giolito reportedly began experiencing symptoms earlier this week and the expectation is that he will be able to return to the team at some point next week. Vaughn, meanwhile, had been out since late April due to a bruised right hand. He played in two rehab games at Triple-A and homered twice in the second of the two games. We expect him to be in the starting lineup for Friday's game against Gerrit Cole and the New York Yankees.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
