Andrew Wiggins Continues To Pour In Points In Defeat
5 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves shooting guard/small forward Andrew Wiggins posted his fourth consecutive outing with at least 25 points during Saturday’s overtime loss to the Denver Nuggets. Wiggins’ offensive output has jumped exponentially while Jeff Teague (illness) and Shabazz Napier (hamstring) have been unavailable, as the sixth-year wing finished 10-for-22 from the floor en route to his 25 points, adding five assists and four rebounds across his 40 minutes. So long as the team has to get creative with their rotations due to injury, expect Wiggins to take a pile of shots, making him a solid DFS option Monday on the second leg of a back-to-back against Detroit.
