5 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves small forward Andrew Wiggins scored 34 points in his team's 124-117 loss to the Los Angeles Clippers on Friday night. It was Wiggins' second-highest scoring output of the season (40), and he added three rebounds, two assists, and one steal to his final stat line. He shot 12-for-20 from the field and 8-for-8 from the free-throw line but wasn't as sharp from three, with a 2-for-7 performance. Wiggins is now averaging 24.3 points in December and is top-15 in the league in points per game this season. Unfortunately, he is outside the top-60 in the rebound and assist categories.--Euan Leith
