Andrew Wiggins Has Team-High 22 Points In Loss
5 years agoGolden State Warriors guard Andrew Wiggins led his new team in scoring during a 135-105 loss to the Houston Rockets on Thursday night. The seventh-year guard had 22 points on 10-for-17 shooting, three rebounds, two blocks, and one steal in 29 minutes. It was the third time in four games with Golden State that Wiggins hit at least 55 percent of his shots and 50 percent of his three-pointers. The new environment seems to be suiting him through a small four-game sample size. Still, it is encouraging for fantasy owners to see him shooting the ball so well after he was only hitting 44.1 percent of his shots in Minnesota this season. The shooting guard will look to continue his hot hand when the Warriors welcome the New Orleans Pelicans to the Chase Center on Sunday.
