Andrew Wiggins Logs 38 Minutes After Questionable Designation
6 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves small forward Andrew Wiggins entered Monday’s matchup against the Brooklyn Nets questionable to play due to a quad issue, but he alleviated any of those concerns by logging 38 minutes of action. He took a backseat offensively to the duo of Karl-Anthony Towns and Derrick Rose, with Wiggins getting up just 12 shots and finishing the night with 13 points, six rebounds, three assists, one steal and one block. Wiggins figures to see ample scoring opportunities on a nightly basis in the post-Jimmy Butler era in Minnesota, with his next chance to break out coming Wednesday versus the New Orleans Pelicans, who are allowing the fourth-most points per game in the league.
