6 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves shooting guard/small forward Andrew Wiggins has missed the past three games due to a left quad contusion, but is listed as questionable for Thursday’s meeting versus the Utah Jazz. Rookie Keita Bates-Diop has stepped into the starting five in his place and would once again draw hefty DFS consideration should Wiggins be sidelined for a fourth straight contest. Having entered his fourth professional season missing just one game, Wiggins has been absent from nine games in 2018-19, in addition to having a seesaw shooting year. Things won’t get easier Thursday if he returns against the Jazz, who have smothered opposing wings defensively this season.--Jesse Borek
