5 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves small forward Andrew Wiggins performed passably Friday against the Charlotte Hornets. Wiggins scored 16 points going six for thirteen from the floor with none of those made shots coming from three-point range. Also in the contest, Wiggins had four boards and two assists. In the first two games of the season, Wiggins has averaged 18.5 points an outing shooting 40 percent from the field and hasn't made one three-pointer yet. The Miami Heat on Sunday are next on the schedule for the Timberwolves and Wiggins. One of the Heat's better perimeter defenders shooting guard Jimmy Butler will be out Sunday so maybe Wiggins can have a better performance.--Matt Sparkington - RotoBaller
