6 years agoNew Orleans Pelicans power forward/center Anthony Davis delivered another historic night Wednesday in what has been a season full of such outings. Davis notched a career-high 26 rebounds, adding 34 points to an enormous stat line that also included four assists and three blocks. Even with that effort, his team came up short. Still, through his first 34 games, Davis is on pace to set new career highs in points (28.7) rebounds (13.4) and assists (4.4) per contest, jockeying for the top fantasy spot in the league. He is a nightly terror to have to guard, with his next chance for domination coming Saturday versus the Cleveland Cavaliers.--Jesse Borek
