6 years agoNew Orleans Pelicans power forward/center Anthony Davis has made a habit of collecting double-doubles in as quick a fashion as possible under his new minutes restriction, which was again the case during Saturday’s loss to the Phoenix Suns. Davis, who was held out for the first leg of a back-to-back Friday, played just 22 minutes against the Suns, but finished with 15 points and 11 rebounds, tossing in three steals for good measure. His numbers continue to place him on the higher end of fantasy contributors, with one of the steadier levels of production in the league now that his role has been defined. His output being capped by the organization remains baffling, but he looks to keep his run of strong play going Monday against the Dallas Mavericks, although it’s always worth double-checking his status prior to tip-off.--Jesse Borek
