7 years agoNew Orleans Pelicans forward/center Anthony Davis came back down to Earth on Wednesday against Atlanta. After averaging 43 points in the last three games, Davis scored only eight points in the 94-93 loss. The Hawks limited him to just eight field goal attempts and six free throws. The eight points are a season low for Davis in games he's managed to complete. He averaged over 45 minutes of action in the previous three outings, so exhaustion could've been the issue. He should be back to his best following a couple of nights off before taking on Memphis on Saturday.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
