3 years agoLos Angeles Lakers power forward/center Anthony Davis (thumb) has been deemed questionable to play in Saturday's contest against Portland due to a sprained right thumb. Davis has been sturdy to open the season, averaging a robust 25.4 points and 11.9 boards per contest, while adding 2.3 blocks for good measure. His role for L.A. with LeBron James (abdominal) sidelined has only increased, pole vaulting Davis back among the fantasy elite. In an albeit small sample size, the 20.1 field-goal attempts Davis has compiled over nine games would be the second most of his career. Check back prior to tip-off Saturday, as an absence would drastically shift the slate.--Jesse Borek
