5 years agoLos Angeles Lakers forward Anthony Davis scored 46 points with 13 rebounds, three triples, three steals, an assist, and a block in a 123-113 win over the New Orleans Pelicans. It was revenge part two for Davis, who caught fire in the third quarter en route to his second 40-point performance in two games against his former team, an NBA record. His night included 13 of 13 shooting at the line and 15 of 21 shooting from the field, continuing his excellent efficiency into the New Year. The 26-year-old big man has averaged 31.7 points on 64.8 percent shooting from the field in his last three contests. With upcoming matchups against the Pistons and Knicks, Davis is in position to go on a monster run.--Tim Capurso
