Anthony Davis Is Doubtful For Thursday
6 years agoNew Orleans Pelicans power forward/center Anthony Davis (elbow) is doubtful for Thursday's game against the Trail Blazers, per Yahoo Sports' Chris Haynes. Davis sat out two games after initially injuring his elbow last Friday. He returned for Wednesday's 131-121 loss to the Warriors, where he produced his fifth straight double-double with 17 points and 12 rebounds. However, the 25-year-old big man was only 6-for-16 from the floor, including 1-for-4 from beyond the arc, against Golden State. If Davis is unable to go, Julius Randle or Jahlil Okafor are the most likely to get the start. Either way, Randle is already a quality fantasy option, while Okafor will provide scoring with increased yet limited minutes. Cheick Diallo would also be a candidate to see increased minutes, but his fantasy upside is limited.
