3 years agoLos Angeles Lakers power forward/center Anthony Davis (thumb) has been cleared to play in Wednesday's contest against the Heat. There was never really any doubt about Davis' availability, but his thumb sprain could be an ailment to keep an eye on if there is any further aggravation. Without LeBron James (abdominal) in the mix, Davis' fantasy value is among the league's highest; he dropped 32 points and 12 boards in the team's latest outing. The eight-time All-Star hasn't faced Miami since 2019-20, but he averaged 29.5 PPG that year when matched up against them.--Jesse Borek
