5 years agoLos Angeles Lakers forward Anthony Davis recorded 32 points, 11 rebounds, four blocks, one assist, and one triple in a 128-104 loss to the Denver Nuggets. Davis now has a five-game double-double streak, including back-to-back 30-point double-doubles. The big man avoided an injury scare after going down on a wet spot and is questionable as of now. December has been Davis' best month yet offensively, as he's tallied single-month bests in both field goal percentage, 53.1, and points, 31.1. Owners of the former Kentucky star should keep their eyes on his status and the status of LeBron James (ribs) ahead of Christmas Day's battle for Los Angeles against the Clippers. If he's good to go, Davis will put up numbers anyway but could put up a monster stat-line if James is out again.--Tim Capurso
