6 years agoNew Orleans Pelicans power forward/center Anthony Davis will not return to Thursday’s contest versus the Oklahoma City Thunder due to what the team is deeming a left shoulder injury. The Davis/Pelicans situation is becoming borderline untenable from a fantasy perspective, with one of the league’s top players logging significantly decreased minutes since the passing of the Trade Deadline. Davis played 16 minutes Thursday and will finish with 14 points, four rebounds and two assists, but that’s still a massive clunker for his price in DFS. Owners are stuck in the middle of this cold war between player and franchise and there doesn’t seem to be a path to it ending anytime soon.--Jesse Borek
