6 years agoNew Orleans Pelicans power forward/center Anthony Davis will miss Sunday’s contest against the Los Angeles Lakers due to back spasms. The Pelicans had upgraded Ed Davis to probable earlier in the day, but the organization’s seemingly never-ending battle concerning his status trudges on to the end. Jahlil Okafor figures to become a solid DFS play at his low price tag, even with the risk associated with his selection. Julius Randle should also see a slight increase in usage without Davis in the mix. It’s likely not worth even speculating on Davis’ status moving forward until close to tip-off Wednesday against Charlotte.--Jesse Borek
