Anthony Davis Scores 36 Points Against Trail Blazers
7 years agoNew Orleans Pelicans power forward Anthony Davis scored 36 points in the Pelicans Friday night win over the Portland Trail Blazers. It was Davis' second consecutive start hitting the 30-point mark, though he sat out a game against Memphis in the middle of that stretch with an ankle injury. Davis has been a scoring machine for the Pelicans this season. In addition, the sixth-year forward added nine rebounds and a pair of blocks for New Orleans, as he continues to provide his team with necessary defensive play. If Davis is fully recovered from that injury, and Friday's stellar play suggests he is, then he goes right back to the top of the power forward rankings.
