7 years agoNew Orleans Pelicans forward/center Anthony Davis, who had combined for just 29 points in the previous two games, went off for 44 points in Saturday's double-overtime win against the Brooklyn Nets, shooting 16-for-35, including 3-for-5 from deep. He also had 17 rebounds, three blocks and a season-high six steals in 50 minutes on the floor. It was a great bounce-back game from AD after a couple of very quiet outings and it came at the right time, as the Pelicans have four games next week. However, Monday's tilt at Detroit doesn't look very favorable for Davis, as he faces a tough battle on the boards with Andre Drummond.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
