5 years agoLos Angeles Lakers forward Anthony Davis scored 26 points with 11 rebounds, two assists, a triple, and a block in a 117-107 win over the Phoenix Suns. Davis had a poster dunk in the first quarter, catching a lob from Danny Green and slamming a thunderous oop on Aron Baynes. The 26-year-old has been very efficient in his last two games, shooting a combined 61.5 percent from the field. If Davis can keep up this level of efficiency, January could be an even better scoring month than December was for him. Up next for Davis is a Friday game against his former team, the New Orleans Pelicans, who he dominated for 41 points and nine rebounds back in November.--Tim Capurso
