6 years agoThe New Orleans Pelicans confirmed Thursday that they have kept power forward/center Anthony Davis past the NBA's trade deadline, and trade talks will be ongoing into the offseason. The trade rumors were flying fast and furious, particularly with 'The Brow' heading to the Los Angeles Lakers, but that never came into fruition, and apparently wasn't terribly close to happening, either. There has been much speculation in the past 24 hours that Davis could be headed to the Boston Celtics this offseason, and it might behoove the Pels to make sure his next landing spot is outside of the Western Conference.
