6 years agoNew Orleans Pelicans power forward/center Anthony Davis suited up for Friday’s game against the Los Angeles Lakers after being a game-time decision, and delivered a 30-point, 20-rebound effort across 39 minutes. It was the usual brilliance that owners have come to expect from Davis, even if he continued to give a scare as it surrounded his playing status. With Nikola Mirotic once again sidelined, Davis continued to take the brunt of the offense, firing up 23 shots, as he is averaging 21.1 shot attempts per game this month. Davis has a match-up with the high-octane Sacramento Kings come Sunday, which could lead to even more looks with the increased pace.--Jesse Borek
