7 years agoNew Orleans Pelicans power forward Anthony Davis (ankle) has been ruled out ahead of Wednesday night's contest against the Memphis Grizzlies. Davis suffered a sprained right ankle in Monday's win against the Chicago Bulls and is still feeling the effects of the injury. Forward Dante Cunningham will move into the starting lineup but is not a recommended add in the short term. Although head coach Alvin Gentry expects Davis to be ready for Friday against the Portland Trail Blazers, Davis has a lengthy injury history and should be considered questionable until further notice.--Dale Johnson - RotoBaller
