2 years agoSan Francisco Giants starting pitcher Anthony DeSclafani (ankle) will undergo surgery on his right ankle on July 12. During the procedure, he will have the peroneal tendon in his ankle set. His expected recovery time after the surgery is four-to-five months, meaning he will not return during the 2022 season. It was a rough season for DeSclafani even before the ankle injury came up. He was only able to make five starts this year and he pitched to a 9.95 ERA and a 2.05 WHIP.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
