Anthony DeSclafani Has A "Good Chance" To Start Tuesday
3 years agoSan Francisco Giants manager Gabe Kapler stated that there is a "good chance" that right-hander Anthony DeSclafani (ankle) returns from the injured list and starts Tuesday's game against the Atlanta Braves. DeSclafani first landed on the injured list with right ankle inflammation back in April. The 32-year-old has made two starts at Triple-A over the past few weeks and he's allowed eight hits, three walks and four runs (three earned) over 5 /23 innings. He had an ugly 6.08 ERA and 1.80 WHIP prior to landing on the injured list so he'll be looking to get his season back on track once he returns to the mound.
