3 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves shooting guard Anthony Edwards laid the foundation for a blowout win on Saturday against the Grizzlies, scoring 17 of his 23 points in the first quarter. He missed only two shots all night and was automatic from deep with a 5-for-6 effort. Edwards delivered a pair of assists with one turnover in 26 minutes. The 20-year-old had a horrible start to the week with a nine-point dud against Phoenix, but he's bounced back well and can now look forward to a very good matchup against New Orleans. Edwards averaged 23.5 points with nine rebounds and four assists in a pair of meetings with the Pelicans at the start of the season.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
